Description

As Records Clerk you will have the opportunity to be a part of a dynamic team that maintains accurate and confidential records and files, and assists in maintenance of various records within the department.
As a Records Clerk, you will:
  • Prepare, scan or image departmental documents for retention purposes according to designated department process
  • Review and ensure accuracy, legibility, and completeness of files; identifying and correcting any inconsistencies or errors, including maintaining record tracking transmittals
  • Request repairs to office equipment as needed
  • Prepare, control, and maintain records/files electronically to include coding, filing, and mailing, in accordance with authorized procedures
  • Distribute departmental mail daily
  • Maintain confidentiality of all customer and employee files and comply with state and federal regulations as well as Company procedures
  • Oversee inventory of department supply needs
  • Provide administrative support as assigned
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Prompt and regular attendance is required
You could be a great addition as a Records Clerk, if you have:
  • Prior experience in filing systems using document scanners preferred
  • Prior experience maintaining office records
  • Previous clerical experience
  • Computer literate with proficiency in Word and Excel and other computer programs
  • Able to operate a fax, scanner, and copier
  • Must be able to commute to our home office in Spartanburg, SC on a daily basis
  • A stable work history that would lend well to the day to day duties required of this role
