Security Finance is hiring a Senior Financial Accountant!
As a Senior Financial Accountant, you can expect to:
- Ensures accuracy of financial data in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Company’s policies and procedures
- Assists with external and regulatory agency audits
- Prepares and inputs general ledger adjustments necessary for accurate presentation of consolidated financial statements
- Prepares analytical review of profit and loss statements during the closing process
- Oversee or perform the audit, reconciliation and accuracy of general ledger accounts on a monthly basis
- Analyze and compile financial data for year-round accounting and audit schedules
- Ensure other expenses are analyzed on a monthly basis for accuracy and variance
- Prepare and compile, or oversee the preparation and accuracy of various state license renewals and annual reports necessary to conduct business in all states
- Prompt and regular attendance is required
You could be a great addition as a Senior Financial Accountant, if you have:
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting preferred
- 5+ years accounting experience in a high volume, fast-paced environment with demonstrated success managing multiple projects and working well under deadline pressure
- Ability to train and oversee others
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of Company personnel and management
- Computer literate with intermediate to advanced Excel and Word skills
- Strong understanding of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Proven experience understanding and ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and laws
