Security Finance is hiring a Credit Reporting Analyst!
As Credit Reporting Analyst, you can expect to perform as:
A dynamic compliance professional with expertise in developing, executing, and reporting on Compliance Test programs. Skilled in conducting comprehensive reviews of credit reporting processes to identify regulatory gaps and deficiencies, recommending and monitoring effective remediation strategies. Proficient in data analysis and system records, with a strong focus on approving the accurate furnishing of customer information to credit bureaus. Collaborates effectively with legal and IT teams to enhance credit reporting systems and ensure adherence to industry standards. Experienced in generating monthly reports on credit dispute metrics, performing root cause analysis, and updating IT Business Requirements Documents and policy procedures. Adept at coordinating with various departments to rectify errors in credit reporting and managing relationships with third-party testing vendors for compliance assessments. Committed to addressing and resolving complaints or disputes related to credit reporting processes.

  • Bachelor Degree preferred, High School Diploma or equivalent required 
  • 5 years of experience in Compliance, Risk Management and/or Auditing 
  • Consistent and demonstrated ability to work independently and efficiently with low margin of error
  • Consumer Data Information Association (CDIA) certification to be obtained within the first 6 months
  • Working knowledge of Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), including FCRAs Furnisher Rule and Use requirements
  • Comprehensive knowledge of credit disputes and the two different methods of submission (CRAs {eOscar} and direct to a Furnisher)
  • Experience in organizing, prioritizing, and handling multiple tasks with a high level of efficiency and in a flexible manner
  • Experience working on technical projects with programmers/developers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer literate with strong Microsoft Office Suite to include full proficiency with Excel
