At Security Finance our Payroll Administrator is responsible for:
Preparation of payroll data for assigned territory; includes approving payroll changes, new hires, terminations, W-4 changes, direct deposit and pay card changes
Administering wage garnishment process
Opening/Processing/Closing payrolls within the Human Resources computer system(s)
Preparing and distributing payroll reports/exports/funding, run GL reports at month end, and call in NACHA file to bank if Payroll Manager and Lead Payroll Administrator are unavailable
Researching and preparing special reports for management and other personnel
Performing calculation of monthly bonus using computerized systems and manual spreadsheets
Testing computer systems and upgrades to ensure payroll is processed correctly
Reviewing timecards for accuracy for assigned territory
Running GL and prepare journal entries for any necessary branch expense changes
Training other payroll personnel
Prompt and regular attendance is required
You could be a great addition as Payroll Administrator if you have:
5 years of payroll experience required
Knowledge of payroll principles and practices
Knowledge of wage garnishment theories and principals preferred
Computer literate and proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and Word
Accurate data entry skill
Demonstrated organizational skills
Educational Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
