At Security Finance our Payroll Administrator is responsible for: 
  • Preparation of payroll data for assigned territory; includes approving payroll changes, new hires, terminations, W-4 changes, direct deposit and pay card changes
  • Administering wage garnishment process
  • Opening/Processing/Closing payrolls within the Human Resources computer system(s)
  • Preparing and distributing payroll reports/exports/funding, run GL reports at month end, and call in NACHA file to bank if Payroll Manager and Lead Payroll Administrator are unavailable
  • Researching and preparing special reports for management and other personnel
  • Performing calculation of monthly bonus using computerized systems and manual spreadsheets
  • Testing computer systems and upgrades to ensure payroll is processed correctly
  • Reviewing timecards for accuracy for assigned territory
  • Running GL and prepare journal entries for any necessary branch expense changes
  • Training other payroll personnel
  • Prompt and regular attendance is required
 
You could be a great addition as Payroll Administrator if you have:
  • 5 years of payroll experience required
  • Knowledge of payroll principles and practices
  • Knowledge of wage garnishment theories and principals preferred
  • Computer literate and proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and Word
  • Accurate data entry skill
  • Demonstrated organizational skills
Educational Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
