Job Summary:

Customer Service Representative, you will play a vital role in addressing customer complaints, disputes, and concerns in accordance with our established guidelines.  You will have the opportunity to provide solutions, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction while maintaining compliance with credit reporting standards and company procedures. 
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
As a Customer Relations Representative, you will:     
  • Receive and respond to incoming customer service calls and written correspondence regarding credit reporting issues from customers and consumers.  
  • Assess the best approach for responding to customer complaints, including determining whether an issue needs to be escalated to higher management.  
  • Track customer complaints and concerns from start to finish to ensure all issues are resolved in compliance with credit reporting agencies and corporate requirements.  
  • Follow up on previously delegated customer service complaints and concerns to ensure timely closure and resolution.  
  • Use web-based tools like E-Oscar and E-Port to evaluate credit disputes, and work with the branch to determine if a consumer’s credit information should be updated.  
  • Communicate the final outcome of complaints and concerns both verbally and in writing to customers and management.  
  • Provide cross-training to other team members to ensure adequate cover and team readiness.  
  • Maintain prompt and regular attendance.  
Qualifications:
You could be a great addition to our team if you:
  • Are computer literate, with strong skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint 
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; bilingual Spanish language skills are a plus 
  • Have knowledge of or are able to gain knowledge in finance company office procedures, credit reporting regulations, FCRAS (Fair Credit Reporting Act), and credit reports  
  • Have previous customer service experience, particularly in handling complaints and disputes
