ACCOUTNING INTERNSHIP – FALL 2025
Location: Spartanburg, SC | Type: Internship | Department: Finance

What You Will Do 
As a Accounting Intern, you’ll be involved in a variety of projects and day-to-day tasks that will deepen your understanding of the financial world. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Documenting work paper retention strategy
  • Assist with business license document filing and tracking (OnBase)
  • Assisting with daily accounting tasks, department initiatives, and special projects
  • Supporting team members in administrative and accounting activities
  • Conducting research and compiling data to support business decisions
  • Helping prepare reports, presentations, and documentation
  • Learning and applying departmental procedures and industry best practices
  • Actively participating in meetings, brainstorming sessions, and training opportunities
  • Seeking exposure to different facets of the organization
  • Completing assignments accurately and on time
What We Are Looking For 
We are seeking an energetic and curious individual with a strong interest in finance and business. The ideal candidate will have:
  • Current enrollment in a college or university program and preferably has completed Financial Accounting I
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), enjoys working with spreadsheets and numbers
  • Knowledgeable of basic accounting concepts  
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively
  • A collaborative mindset – able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail, discretion, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality
  • A can-do attitude with a desire to learn, grow, and take on new challenges
Work Environment & Requirements 
  • This is an in-office role and involves regular use of computers, calculators, scanners, and other office equipment
  • Candidates must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
