Description

Under general supervision the Branch Auditor performs audits of branch offices to assess compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.  This role is essential in ensuring operational integrity and risk mitigation across an assigned territory of 60 – 85 branches through both onsite visits and remote visits.
 
As a Field Auditor you will:     
  • Conduct internal audits of assigned branches through scheduled site visits and remote visits.  
  • Complete all assigned audits on scheduled and document findings in a timely and accurate manner. 
  • Prepare detailed reports of audit findings and distribute to operational and audit management.  
  • Stay current on company policies and applicable state and federal lending regulations. 
  • Alert management to any potential violations of laws or company policy.  
  • Follow up on questionable activities, including performing investigations when necessary. 
  • Collaborate with audit management to identify trends or patterns requiring process improvement.  
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.   
Qualifications, you could be a great addition to our team if you:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Prior experience in branch operations or the financial services industry required.
  • Solid understanding of federal and state lending laws and compliance requirements.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; Spanish bilingual is a plus.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage audit scheduled independently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable learning branch systems and reporting tools.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and have access to a reliable vehicle for daily travel.
